Our Story

Hi, I’m Brady.

I’ve always been fascinated by money: how it get it, how it grows, and what it can do. That curiosity led me to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I earned my degree in finance. I grew up in the church, I had the education, and I thought I had money figured out.

Then, in 2023, I got sick.

That season stopped me in my tracks. Through a series of events, it sent me back to the Bible with a simple question: what does God actually say about how to live? I was surprised by how much of the answer was about money. Jesus talked about money more than almost anything else. And as I read, I realized something humbling: despite growing up in the church and holding a finance degree, I wasn’t doing money God’s way.

I learned that doing money God’s way isn’t only about getting your own house in order and putting money in the plate on Sunday. God wants our view of money to undergo a radical transformation. It means using what we’ve been given to serve the poor, save the lost, and strengthen the church. That conviction led me to start the benevolence program at my home church Citylight.

That’s where everything changed. Working with families through benevolence, I was introduced to financial coaching, and I fell in love with it. I saw firsthand that helping people navigate their money, whether they have a little or a lot, is one of the best ways I can serve others. Money isn’t just a math problem. I believe, for Christians, it’s the single greatest spiritual danger of our generation, especially in a culture that constantly tells us we need more. When someone gets free from that pull, it transforms their marriage, their peace, and their walk with God.

I spent two years coaching people before becoming a Certified Financial Coach in 2026, and I knew this is what I want to spend my life doing.

Today, I’m passionate about helping normal people:

  • Live on less than they make with a simple budget

  • Break free from debt, the modern form of indentured servitude

  • Define their finish line by deciding how much is enough

  • Navigate giving generously at every income level

  • Get on the same team with their money, especially married couples

I do not sell financial products. My mission is to empower others to accomplish these goals through fee-only coaching, free tools, and free content to help them get there.

Wherever you’re starting from, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d love to walk alongside you.
